Tulip Time Festival

This 10-day festival is ranked as one of the top events in North America, listed as one of the top 20 events internationally, and is the 4th largest flower festival in the United States! The highlight of a Saugatuck summer! The kickoff celebration starts Friday at Coghlin Park at 5:00pm. Enjoy childrens activities, live music, spirits, wine and food. On Saturday an arts & crafts fair sponsored by the Saugatuck-Douglas Art Club begins at 10am. From noon til 3pm the Dinghy Poker Run takes place, and later that night a lighted boat parade happens at dusk. The day wraps up with fireworks over the harbor after dark! Spend the day in downtown Saugatuck for the annual Halloween Festival! At 11am watch the pet parade and costume contest with prizes awarded at noon. At 4pm a family friendly parade takes place downtown Saugatuck. Then end your evening with downtown Douglas' Halloween Celebration & Parade (adults only). At 10:00pm it's the adults' turn to dress up and parade down Center Street! After the parade may of the restaruants and bars will have costume parties and live music. The Interurban Bus runs until 2am to get you back to the hotel after your celebrations for only a dollar.
